Tenders for renovation of Srbijavoz regional depots worth EUR 25 million announced

The company Srbijavoz will soon begin a EUR 25 million project for the rehabilitation and modernization of three regional train maintenance depots, thanks to funds from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), which will finance the entire amount through a loan.

The project will reconstruct and upgrade facilities in Zemun, Sombor and Nis, as well as purchase new maintenance equipment, with the aim of increasing the efficiency and reliability of passenger rail transport.

According to the plan, the first procurement relates to services for supervision of the execution of works and will be launched in August 2025. Tenders for construction works in Zemun and Sombor are planned to be launched in October, while tenders for the depot and equipment in Nis are expected in April 2026.

The procurement will be carried out via the EBRD’s electronic platform (ECEPP), and companies from all member countries of the bank will have the right to participate. All interested contractors should register on the platform to receive timely notifications about published opportunities.
