Urgent payments of up to RSD 300,000 enabled at counters of PE “Pošta Srbije”

PE “Pošta Srbije” has enabled at its counters instant execution of payment orders marked as “urgent”, upon the request of payment service users. All payment orders for amounts up to 300,000 dinars can be executed as instant payments, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) announced.

– The funds will be transferred to the recipient designated in the payment order within just a few seconds via the NBS IPS payment system, in which PE “Pošta Srbije” is an indirect participant with mediated access, executing instant orders through its direct participant, Banka Poštanska štedionica a.d. Beograd. The introduction of instant payments at the counters of PE “Pošta Srbije” improves the user experience in line with the possibilities offered by the Instant Payment System in the context of the digitalisation and enhancement of payment services – the announcement says.

For the sake of reminder, “Pošta Srbije” enabled its users to make instant payments of fees, tax duties and other charges in favour of public administration accounts back in April 2021.
