IMF confirms successful completion of first review under Policy Coordination Instrument arrangement with Serbia

Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali emphasized that that represented a confirmation by the renowned international financial institution that Serbia had successfully implemented all agreed reform objectives.
– Following the IMF mission’s visit to Belgrade from May 28 to June 11 this year, during which consultations were held with all relevant institutions, projections for Serbia’s continued economic growth were presented – he pointed out.
Mali reminded that the IMF projected a GDP growth of 3% for 2025 and 4% for 2026.
He said that the Government of Serbia had obliged to keep the fiscal deficit at below 3% until 2027.
