Business zone along highway to Zagreb to be expanded – Construction of more than 550,000 m2 of business space planned

Between the highway to Zagreb and Svetog Save and Federika Felinija streets, that is, near the settlement of Radiofar near Surcin, the plan is to build a new business zone with a total gross developed area of 632,078 m2. This can be seen in the study for the preparation of the Detailed Regulation Plan of this area, for which the Secretariat for Urban Planning and Construction Affairs of the City of Belgrade has advertised an early public review, which will last until July 14.

The area covered by the plan amounts to around 50 hectares, and according to the documentation, a considerable transformation of the current layout of this space is planned. Now, the terrain is dominated by business and commercial facilities, such as smaller production facilities, warehouses and car services, but also parts of agricultural land, as well as several residential facilities along Svetog Save Street, which will be excluded from future use by this plan - the plan envisages for 2,090 m2 of the gross developed area of residential features to be removed in favor of business activities.

Through the realization of the plan, the aim is to increase the gross developed area for business activities from the current 60,160 m2 to over 632,000 m2, with a projection of a growth of the number of employees, from the current 601 to 6,320.

The early public review lasts until July 14.
