Kragujevac adopts Gasification Program worth EUR 44 million and selects strategic partner – 850 km of network for 20,000 users planned

The City Assembly of Kragujevac adopted, at an urgently held session, the Gasification Program for the city territory for the period from 2025 to 2035, as well as the decision on the selection of the strategic partner. As said, this is one of the biggest utility investments in the city, with a total value of EUR 44 million, to be financed by the PE Srbijagas.

The program aims to improve the quality of utility services, while contributing to the environmental protection and the improvement of the quality of the citizens’ lives.

The program, which was prepared by the PE Urbanizam Kragujevac, envisages the construction of around 850 kilometers of a gas network and the connecting of over 20,000 potential users of natural gas.

– After the public discussion, during which there were no complaints from either the citizens or the corporate sector, we adopted the decision which will considerably influence the development of municipal activities and ecological sustainability in Kragujevac – stated the president of the City Assembly, Ivica Momcilovic.

He added that the company DM Invest d.o.o. from Smederevska Palanka had been selected as the strategic partner.
