Serbia and Huawei continuing modernization of rail and road transport

Huawei will continue to cooperate with the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure on the introduction of modern technological solutions in rail and road transport, with the aim of improving the safety and efficiency of the transport network. This was confirmed at a meeting between Minister Aleksandra Sofronijevic and representatives of the Chinese company.

As Sofronijevic emphasized, the Ministry is fully committed to digital transformation and improving the safety and efficiency of transport infrastructure, and the successful cooperation with the Chinese company Huawei will be further deepened.

– China is one of our most important foreign trade and infrastructure partners, and strategic cooperation with Chinese companies has already shown results in numerous sectors – the minister emphasized.

Deputy General Director of Huawei’s representative office for Serbia and Hungary, Yin Mu, thanked for the support and expressed his expectation that the successful cooperation would continue in the coming period.

At the meeting, it was assessed that partnership with technologically advanced companies such as Huawei was of key importance for realizing the goals of modernizing the transport network in Serbia.
