In China, Micin talked to the deputy general manager of SHAC, Gong Min. The company is investing EUR 40 million in the opening of the factory in Novi Sad. Min pointed out that SHAC had 16 factories, that they cooperated with the most significant automotive industries and that, in Novi Sad, they were opening their first factory in Europe.
– Mister Gong Min has confirmed to me that, in the first phase, the factory in Novi Sad will employ 200 workers, of which as many as 50% will be highly qualified experts, and 20% workers with vocational education. In addition to securing jobs for 200 citizens of Novi Sad, the factory will also contribute to the growth of the GDP and the growth of the income of the local self-government, but also a further development of the economic potentials of the city. In Novi Sad, the German automotive giant Continental has its facilities. I am convinced that the new cooperation with renowned brands, such as SHAC, will further reinforce the position of Novi Sad as an investment center for the development of the automotive industry – said mayor Micin.
