Tender for the construction of the central building of Belgrade's new bus station continues - Deadline shortened

After the Republic Commission for the Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures partially annulled the tender for the construction of the bus terminal in New Belgrade's Blok 42, the public procurement procedure continued, and the deadline for the applications by interested contractors was extended until April 3. The value of the deal is estimated at RSD 5.63 billion (about EUR 48.1 million).

We remind our readers that the tender for the construction of the central station was originally open until November 22 last year, but it was extended numerous times, at one point even partially canceled, and this decision was made by the Republic Commission for the Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures based on the request for the protection of rights submitted by the company Strabag.

According to the latest document published as part of this public call, the tender documentation for public procurement has been changed in several respects.

Among other things, the possibility of advance payment is removed, and the deadline for the execution of works is reduced from 730 to 640 days.

Advance payment is deleted from the contract model, and certain conditions in the part of the list of performed works have also been changed. Also, the technical specification was changed in accordance with the answers to the requests for clarification and the decision of the Republic Commission.
