This is Phase II of the construction of the New Bus Station Complex, that is, the construction of the central station building.
The value of the job has been estimated at RSD 5.63 billion (around EUR 48.1 million).
According to the architectural project, which was prepared by the Institute of Transportation CIP as per the commission of the investor, the City of Belgrade, the station building is planned as a free-standing facility, with a basement and three floors (including the ground floor and the loft).
The bus station facility will be located in New Belgrade, in Block 42, in the former location of the flea market, where the new bus station (BAS) was recently opened.
The main entrance to the central station building will be located in Antifasisticke borbe Street, whereas, on the opposite side – the northwest side of the building, the entrances and exits to and from the station’s platform area are planned.
The facility will be equipped with five main entrances and exits for passengers and users of the services of BAS, and the forming of a station square with access roads and two parking lots for short-term parking (companions and visitors) is planned as well.
The canopied pedestrian square will be located above the underground garage of the facility.
The tender for the construction of the central station building is open until November 22, and other details (in Serbian) can be found HERE.
