Vucic: Average Salary in Serbia to Be EUR 825 by Year-End

The average salary in Serbia will be EUR 825 by the end of this year, and in Belgrade, it is already over EUR 1,000, said the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic.

He emphasized that the state would do everything to bring back a certain number of citizens who had gone to work abroad.

– We are creating a better Serbia. Of course, the conditions and the salaries will not be like in the European Union any time soon, but they are growing and we hope that those facts will convince a certain number of our citizens to return to their country – Vucic added.
