EUR 17 Million for Cacak for Construction of New Science-Technology Park Building – Additional 12,700 Square Meters in Cer Location

The City of Cacak is to get EUR 17 million from the Government of Serbia for the construction and equipping of the 2nd phase of the Science-Technology Park, announced the mayor of Cacak, Milun Todorovic.

The new building will spread on 12,700 square meters, in the Cer location, where the STP has 6,000 square meters of office space, in which over 30 companies are located.

According to the plan, after the confirmation of the agreement in the Government of Serbia and the National Assembly of Serbia, tenders for the execution of the works, which are expected to begin by the end of the year, will be published.

– With the construction of a “smart building” on over 12,000 square meters and its equipping, we are creating even better conditions for new innovations and the further science-technological development of our city – Todorovic announced on his Facebook profile.

Let us remind that the Government of Serbia has signed an agreement with the EBRD on the upgrading of the scientific infrastructure, construction of new STPs and additional buildings in existing STPs in the country, worth EUR 80 million.
