International Tender for Reconstruction and Expansion of Port of Bogojevo Published

The EU Delegation to Serbia and the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure have published the international public invitation for the reconstruction and expansion of the port of Bogojevo.

The Port of Bogojevo is located on the left bank of the Danube, whose distance from the Belgrade-Budapest highway is 40 km.

The scope of the works entails the preparation of the entire project for the execution of the works and the complete construction of new capacities of the Port of Bogojevo. Furthermore, the contractor is responsible for providing expert staff, the workforce, the materials, the facility, the equipment, the services and the accompanying facilities. The agreement will be implemented under the “Conditions of Contract for Construction for Building and Engineering Works Designed by the Employer” (FIDIC Red Book), first edition from 1999.

The plan is for the agreement to last for 42 months, and the application deadline is October 20, 2022.

The value of the job is not cited. According to the minister of construction, transport and infrastructure of Serbia, Tomislav Momirovic, the state plans to invest EUR 500 million in the ports of Prahovo and Bogojevo this and next year, under the concession model.

Let us remind that, in March, the ministry published the tender for supervision over the execution of the works on the reconstruction and expansion of the port of Bogojevo, worth EUR 2.5 million.
