Consortium of Companies to Supervise Reconstruction and Expansion of Port of Bogojevo Selected

The EU Delegation to Serbia has announced who won the job of the supervision of the reconstruction and expansion of the Port of Bogojevo, worth EUR 2.45 million.

It is the consortium consisting of the multinational company Eptisa Servicios de Ingenieria S.L., headquartered in Madrid, the Belgrade Based company Ehting doo and the Italian RINA Consulting S.p.A. from Genoa.

The tender for the supervision of the works was published in March, and it will encompass the supervision of access and port infrastructure, as well as utility infrastructure (internal roads, railway, sewer, water, power supply).

Let us remind that the tender for the expansion and reconstruction of the Port of Bogojevo was published in July and extended in August. The bid submission deadline was November 3, but there is still no information about the results of this international tender.

The Port of Bogojevo is located on the left bank of the Danube, close to the Serbia-Croatia border crossing.

The value of the job has not been mentioned, but as the former minister of construction, transport and infrastructure, Tomislav Momirovic, said earlier, the state plans to invest a total of EUR 500 million this and next year in the ports of Prahovo and Bogojevo, using the concession model.
