The Entrepreneurship Portal, which features all the programs of support of various institutions on the national, regional and local levels, has been presented, in order to provide all the important information to entrepreneurs in one place.
The assistant minister of economy of Serbia, Katarina Obradovic Jovanovic, pointed out on that occasion that the Ministry of Economy had recognized additional needs of the economy in the sense of education and providing support in understanding the regulations pertaining to their operations, as well as new target group which required special attention – startups.
– For that reason, through joint efforts with our partners, we have also developed two new sub-websites: Small Business Information Provider and Startup Portal – said Obradovic Jovanovic, as announced on the website of the Government of Serbia.
She said that the sub-website Small Business Information Provider explained in a simple way how to pay taxes, employ workers, digitize the operations, use eServices and carry out inspection supervision.
Startup Portal is the central place of connecting, informing and educating startups in all phases of development and it provides information about programs of support, financing and investing in this target group, as well as an overview of the organizations of support for startup entrepreneurs, their programs and events.
On Startup Portal, the users can find a rich knowledge database, which provides answers to many administrative questions of importance to founding, running and investing in startups, it is added.
The Ministry of Economy launched the Entrepreneurship Portal in 2018 with the aim of providing small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurs with all the necessary information in one place.
The portal features the data on the available programs of support (financial and non-financial), as well as about what they need to do in order to start a business, how to find support for the further development of the business, but also how to achieve good business results.
