Aks Express Kurir Expands Business Capacities – New Sorting Center with Fully Automated Sorting Lines

The investment that has considerably increased the quality of the company’s service provision and expanded the business capacities is the new sorting center, with fully automated sorting lines, which ensure a sorting capacity of up to 100,000 shipments a day.
The automation of the sorting process was realized by integrating the new sorting system with the current operating software. The system is meant to work automatically, where the functions of receiving the packages, putting them on the sorting line, reading out the codes and sorting the packages are done automatically.
Thanks to the automation of the process, the time needed to sort the shipments has been considerably shortened, which further directly affects the time of the arrival of line transport to the regional centers, and with that, leads to a quicker delivery to end-clients.
By reducing and nearly fully eschewing manual operations in sorting, the damaging of shipments has also been considerably reduced, whereas the logistics positioning of the new sorting center in Belgrade has considerably contributed to the reduction of expenditures for petroleum products.
