"Fidelinka" to open chain of new "Caffe-bakeries" – Serbian brand on regional markets

Although the official opening of the first of two "Caffe - bakeries" from the system of "Brand&Co" company "Fidelinka", one in Nušićeva Street and the other near the Youth Center in Dečanska Street, is expected in about ten days, these bakeries have already been put into operation.
- These are somewhat different bakeries, adapted to the urban mentality. These are the places where you can pleasantly spend your pause and, in addition, have some pastry, salad, sandwich, cookies or coffee. We are planning to open another 10-15 bakeries on the territory of Belgrade by the end of the year, whereas the plan is 50 bakeries be opened in all major cities, all around Serbia, prior to 2009 - says Branimir Lalić, the Manager who, after he had spent 18 years as a member of the management of Viennese headquarters of "McDonald’s", came to build a new regional brand together with the Management of "Fidelinka".
He adds that Subotica-based company will later move its focus to the countries from the region and try to present its brand in Sofia, Zagreb, Sarajevo and Vienna.
- I think that the decision of the Management "Fidelinka" is completely justified. It has decided to start creating brands in the final products after six decades of production of cereals and pastas - says Lalić.
He states that the equipping of the first two facilities in the center of Belgrade cost 180,000 EUR each, but he is of the opinion that the organization of the outlet of 80 – 150 square meters will cost about 120,000 EUR at average.
- In the old core of Belgrade, the outlets are equipped in the old-fashion style, but the outlets in Novi Beograd will be completely different and adapted to the architectural milieu and structure of the consumers. We have created several such styles and they are all recognizable by the atmosphere that makes guests feel good. In addition, of course, there is also a quality. In addition to the raw materials and products already developed by "Fidelinka", each outlet will have its own production - says Lalić.
