KOSTIC: I can help Serbian Railways

MK Group's owner Miodrag Kostic said in an interview with today's Blic that he can help Serbian Railways as an adviser, adding that he guaranteed success.

- Give me Serbian Railways and you won't need any subventions in three years, but only if politicians let me be - Kostic told Blic.

He stressed that companies should not be turned into social institutions.

He also believes that the Labor Law should be copied from South Korea, China, and the USA.

When asked if tax reform could affect the employment rate, he replied that "we don't have a problem with tycoons, but with grey economy which is on rise," adding that "the problem does not lie in inspectors, but in system solutions and legislation."

MK Group's owner also have a solution for Zelezara Smederevo steelworks.

- I would close it. However, nobody in Serbia has enough courage to close that steelworks and prevent Serbian Railways from making losses - said Kostic.
