Bassilichi is coming to Serbia - Italian company acquires Asoft4Solution

Italian Bassilichi, which operates in the field of electronic payment systems is expanding in the Balkans. There was discussion about payment of museum tickets or shopping in supermarkets, more and more people do nor want to use cash and this is where the knoledgwe of the company found its purpose, Vienna economic magazine, Wirtschaftsblatt reports.

Recently, this group has purchased an 80%-stake in Asoft4Solution, a company specialized in set up and maintenance of POS terminals. The Serbian company with a turnover of EUR 2 mil, headquartered in Belgrade, will be named Bassilichi Central Eastern Europe. Twork of 11.000 POS terminals.

- This is an important acquisition with which we can consolidate our presence in the company and use new growth options in the field of electronic payment systems. Through Bassilichi CEE we will put our technology in the service of the company which is present in the Balkans - President of the Italian group, Marko Basilici said.

The new company plan anticipates that by 2017, position at the world market should be strengthened and the group wants to expand to the North African area as well.
