Scientific research commercialization program to begin tomorrow at STP Novi Sad

The three-day “ParkUp!2026 – From Research to Market” program, aimed at researchers wishing to transform scientific results into market-ready innovations, begins tomorrow, October 14, at the Science-Technology Park Novi Sad.

Organized for the first time in Serbia in collaboration with the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, the program is designed for researchers from the University of Novi Sad.

The program aims to equip participants with the knowledge and practical tools needed to commercialize scientific results, covering everything from problem definition and market research to innovative product development and the launch of startups.

The program opens with a panel discussion titled “Commercialization of Scientific Research”, which will address the market potential of scientific research, innovation protection, and the challenges of bridging science and industry.

Panelists will include Marija Gnjatovic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, Stevan Vrbaski, founder of the startup Vinaver Medical, and Jovana Kojic, a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Belgrade.

The program is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM, with the panel discussion set for 10:30 AM.

ParkUp!2026 will run for three days, focusing on aligning scientific research with market needs and creating conditions for the development of innovations and new enterprises.
