Serbia’s public debt at EUR 41.93 billion, or 43.3% of GDP, at end-August

Serbia’s public debt stood at EUR 41.93 billion at the end of August this year, representing 43.3% of the gross domestic product (GDP), the Ministry of Finance announced.

At the end of July, public debt amounted to EUR 41.82 billion, accounting for 43.2% of GDP.

At the end of last year, public debt stood at EUR 39.34 billion, or 43.7% of GDP.
