EBRD launches tender for 5 waste transfer stations in Serbia – To be built in Odzaci, Bac, Kula, Apatin and Sjenica

An international tender has been launched in Serbia for the design and construction of five solid municipal waste transfer stations, which will form part of the Sombor and Nova Varos regional waste management systems.

The tender covers the construction of four transfer stations for the Sombor regional system, in Odzaci, Bac, Kula, and Apatin, as well as one transfer station for the Nova Varos regional system, located in the Sjenica area.

The procurement encompasses the design and construction of the facilities, as well as the supply and installation of fixed equipment.

The project is being implemented under the Serbian Solid Waste Program, with funding approved via a loan managed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The project client is the Republic of Serbia.

The tender follows the “Design and Build” model, and the procedure is being conducted in two stages via an open tender. Participation is open to companies from all countries, in accordance with EBRD conditions, unless otherwise specified in the tender documentation.
