BG trains in the sign of EXPO 2027 – Srbijavoz announces tender for branding new Chinese electric trains

The rail company Srbijavoz has announced a public procurement procedure for branding electric trains for the urban-suburban railway system (BG voz), for the needs of the specialized exhibition EXPO 2027.

The subject of the public procurement is, as stated, defining the general and minimum technical requirements for the production and installation of multicolor branding on the external surfaces of the electric train manufactured by CRRC Changchun, purchased for the needs of urban rail transport and the specialized exhibition EXPO 2027.

As indicated, the technical specification requires the use of a foil system that, in addition to high quality digital printing and long-lasting external application on trains, provides additional protection against graffiti, dirt and unwanted sticking of stickers. For this reason, the mandatory technical solution is defined as a combination of the printable ORAJET 3951RA+ Proslide foil and the protective Aslan SL99 anti-graffiti lamination, or a technical equivalent that fully meets the above requirements.

As added, the foil must be a premium cast PVC foil with a white glossy surface, intended for digital printing and long-term outdoor use. It must be suitable for wrapping vehicles, including trains, buses, commercial vehicles and other large transport surfaces.

The place where the trains will be branded is TPS Zemun.

It is noted that, before creating the final graphics, the contractor is obliged to prepare, check and vectorize the design in accordance with the real dimensions of the surfaces to which the branding is applied.

– Branding must be done exclusively in accordance with the previously approved design (Expo2027 - Brand Passport), without deviations in terms of the arrangement of elements, colors, dimensions, proportions, typography and graphic details – the tender states.

As noted, given the expected train arrival dynamics of approximately two to three trains per month, the contractor must plan the procurement of materials in a timely manner, so as to ensure the availability of the prescribed foils before the start of work. The deadline for the branding itself is five days per composition, counting from the moment when the vehicle, approved design and all necessary materials are ready for work.
