Year-on-year real growth of retail turnover in July at 8.2%

According to the preliminary results, the turnover of retail trade in the Republic of Serbia in July 2026, compared to the same month last year, increased by 9.5% at current prices and by 8.2% at constant prices, announced the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia.

Comparing the retail trade turnover in the first seven months 2026 with the same period 2025, it increased by 9.0% at current prices, and by 7.3% at constant prices.

Observed by trade activities, in July 2026, compared to July of the previous year, the largest increase in turnover at constant prices was recorded in the retail trade of food, beverages and tobacco, of 9.4%, followed by the retail trade of motor fuels with a turnover growth of 7.4%, and the retail trade of non-food products recorded a turnover growth of 7.0%.
