Portuguese Alpac Capital takes over N1, Nova, Danas and Radar

The owner of Alpac Capital, Pedro Vargas Santos David, was officially registered today as the director of all media outlets that operated within the United Group in Serbia.

As can be seen from the Business Registers Agency, Brent Sadler has been removed from the position of legal representative of Adria News, within which these media outlets now operate.

All directors removed

Pedro Vargas Santos David has been appointed in his place.

The portal Nova.rs reports that all directors have been removed.

Mihailo Jovicevic, director of the portal and newspaper Nova, as well as the weekly Radar, was removed, as well as Aleksandra Mitic, director of the company Dan graf, which publishes Danas, and Brent Sadler from the position of director of Adria News, of which N1 is a part. Sadler was also removed from the position of director of Adria News Nova S, to which he was recently appointed.

Janez Zivko, who was also a director of Nova S television, was also dismissed as part of the same package.

On Friday, August 14, Cenzolovka announced that, although the purchase and sale of United Group media has not yet been formally completed and the necessary regulatory approvals have not been received, the Portuguese investment fund Alpac Capital plans to take over the management of these media.

The value of the purchase and sale agreement is a secret, but Raskrikavanje announced that it is about EUR 30 million for a dozen media outlets in Serbia and the region.
