Charging vehicles with sun-based electricity: American solar systems arrive in Vrnjacka Banja

The American company Beam Global (Nasdaq: BEEM), which develops infrastructure for charging electric vehicles and storing energy, has expanded the application of its technology in Serbia. The company announced that in cooperation with the Aqua Park “Raj” in Vrnjacka Banja, its EV ARC systems for charging electric vehicles have been installed.

Solar systems independent of the power grid

EV ARC systems operate independently of the local power grid, using solar energy to produce and store electricity. According to the company, the systems can be installed without construction work, digging channels and laying cables, which allows faster installation in locations where additional infrastructure for electric vehicles is needed.

The company states that such systems allow charging vehicles using energy from renewable sources, without relying on the existing power infrastructure.

A model based on sponsorships and stable income

Beam Global emphasizes that the project in Vrnjacka Banja represents a continuation of the development of a business model based on long-term contracts and sponsorships. Under this model, the location receives electric vehicle charging infrastructure without initial investment in construction, while income is generated through sponsorship arrangements and use of the system.

– We continue to develop opportunities to create stable income through our operations in Europe – said Beam Global CEO Desmond Wheatley.

He stated that the growth of electric vehicle sales in Europe increased the need for new ways to build charging infrastructure that did not require additional load on the electricity grid.

Expanding business in the region

Beam Global already has a business presence in Serbia, where it owns development and production capacities in Belgrade and Kraljevo. The company previously implemented a project to install an EV ARC system at the Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade.

The company states that it will use the experience gained from the project in Serbia to further expand the application of its solutions in European markets.
