Ryanair withdraws all flights from Nis – Currently uncertain whether this is temporary move or introduction to complete shutdown of operations

By searching on the company’s official website, Constantine the Great Airport (INI) can still be selected as a departure airport, but after that no destinations are displayed. So far, year-round routes to Vienna (VIE) and Malta (MLA) have been on sale from Nis, as well as seasonal routes to Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) and Corfu (CFU).
It is particularly interesting that flights for the summer season 2027, which were previously available for booking, have also been withdrawn from sale. At the same time, on the official website of Constantine the Great Airport, all four routes are still listed in the published seasonal flight schedule, with no indication that they will be suspended.
At this time, it is not known whether this is a temporary withdrawal of flights from sales, a change in the flight schedule, a technical problem in the reservation system or the company’s decision to suspend traffic from Nis. Ryanair and Airports of Serbia have not yet commented on the fact that all flights from Nis have been withdrawn from the reservation system.
Ryanair established its first regular flights from Nis in September 2016, when the route to Berlin was launched, which made Serbia the first to enter the network of the largest European low-cost airline. In the current flight schedule, Ryanair operates two year-round routes from Nis, to Vienna (VIE) and Malta (MLA), as well as two seasonal routes, to Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) and Corfu (CFU).
It is not yet known whether this is a temporary withdrawal of flights from sale or a prelude to a complete shutdown of Ryanair’s operations in Nis. If all flights were indeed suspended, it would mark the end of Ryanair’s almost ten-year presence at the Nis airport.
