According to the JANAF statement, the license is valid until August 28, 2026, which enables the continuation of contracted business activities and ensures business continuity in accordance with the international regulatory framework and applicable measures.
– The extension of the OFAC license confirms the importance of JANAF as a reliable partner and operator of strategic energy infrastructure. We continue to operate responsibly, transparently and in accordance with all international regulations, while remaining focused on security of supply and stability of the energy system – the JANAF management says in a statement.
The Croatian company emphasizes that the extension of the license enables the further fulfillment of contractual obligations and confirms JANAF’s role in maintaining secure and stable energy flows in Croatia and Europe.
JANAF operates the oil pipeline system that connects the Adriatic port of Omisalj with refineries and storage facilities in Croatia and the region, and the company is one of the key routes for supplying crude oil to the NIS refinery in Pancevo.
