Technical Inspection of Kragujevac Northern Bypass to Follow - PE Roads of Serbia Announces Tender for Inspection of Completed Works

Roads of Serbia has announced a public procurement procedure for the technical inspection of completed works on the construction of the Kragujevac Northern Bypass.

The public procurement concerns the provision of technical inspection services by the Technical Inspection Commission of the selected bidder. The technical inspection of the facility also includes checking the completeness of technical and other documentation for the construction of the facility, or execution of the works, as well as verifying the compliance of the completed works with the construction permit, the technical documentation on the basis of which the facility was built, and the technical regulations and standards applicable to individual types of works, materials, equipment and installations.

As a reminder, the project is being implemented on the basis of a commercial contract for the design and construction of the Kragujevac Northern Bypass concluded between the Government of Serbia, PE Roads of Serbia and a consortium comprising Srbijaautoput Belgrade and Euro Motus.

The design documentation according to which the works subject to professional supervision are being carried out was prepared by MHM Projekt d.o.o. Novi Sad.

The project involves the design and construction of the approximately 21 km long Kragujevac Northern Bypass. The route of the future state road corridor is, as emphasized, of great importance for Serbia's road network. The Kragujevac Northern Bypass is planned as an approximately 21 km long road passing through the settlements of Cvetojevac, Novi Milanovac, Opornica, Poskurice and Divostin. The planned route of the Kragujevac Northern Bypass connects the most important inbound and outbound routes: State Road IB No. 24 Batocina - Kragujevac - Kraljevo, State Road IB No. 25 Kragujevac - Topola, State Road IIA No. 177 Kragujevac - Gornji Milanovac, and the outbound section of State Road IB No. 24 Batocina - Kragujevac - Kraljevo toward Kraljevo and Cacak.

The bypass begins at kilometer 10 of State Road IB No. 24 Kragujevac - Batocina and ends in Dragobraca at the beginning of the newly planned Kragujevac - Mrcajevci motorway.

Bids can be submitted until August 12.
