State invests EUR 3.2 million in resolving Lapovo water supply issue - Contract to be signed within the next 15 days

The state will invest EUR 3.2 million in resolving the water supply issue in Lapovo, President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic announced this during a visit to Lapovo, adding that the contract is expected to be signed within the next 15 days.


- Within 15 days, you are going to sign the contract for the water supply in Lapovo and resolve the biggest problem. It is worth EUR 3.2 million and the state of Serbia will pay for it - Vucic said.

He pointed out on the occasion that this would resolve one of the municipality's biggest problems. He also spoke about infrastructure projects in Sumadija, including the completion of the school in Lapovo, a project for Batocina and the Kragujevac bypass, RTS reports.

The president added that completing the school in Lapovo is also a priority, assessing that "Svetozar Markovic" is among the best schools, and that a project for Batocina is being prepared.

Speaking about transport infrastructure, he announced the imminent opening of the first six kilometers of the Kragujevac bypass.

- It is very important that we complete this bypass, not only for the Sumadija and Pomoravlje districts, but for the entire Serbia - Vucic said.
