European Negotiation Conference 2027 to take place in Belgrade

Belgrade will host the European Negotiation Conference next year, which will be held on the sidelines of EXPO 2027, announced Marko Cadez, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia (CCIS). At the closing ceremony of the two-day negotiation conference in Paris, Cadez symbolically took over the baton from Francesco Marchi, President of ENEA, thus officially handing over the organization of the next edition of the conference to Belgrade.

– We are truly proud that Belgrade will host a large and significant conference during EXPO. This is an annual conference of the European Negotiation Association, which brings together both those who teach negotiation - professors, researchers and serious scientists - and those who negotiate, that is, people who participate in important negotiations between states and companies – Cadez emphasized.

As he assessed, this is the world’s largest event dedicated to negotiation, both when it comes to theory and practice.

– It is particularly significant that this conference is leaving Paris for the first time, where it is traditionally held every year, and we are bringing it to Belgrade. That makes us very proud – he said.

Cadez pointed out that, in Belgrade, but also in the entire region, negotiation was a way of thinking, because it was a space in which negotiation was not a theoretical concept, but a way to welcome tomorrow.

The President of the European Negotiation Association (ENEA), Francesco Marchi, pointed out the importance of the partnership with EXPO. According to him, bringing together representatives of the private sector, the academic community and negotiators is a very interesting and important undertaking - especially at a time when it is necessary to build bridges where many see divisions.
