Along the Stara Rakovica stretch, new buildings will be raised alongside the existing multi-family residential buildings, and some will get additional square meters.
The initiative for the construction was launched by the company Dvadesetprvi maj - hotelijerstvo i ugostiteljstvo from Belgrade, which is also the investor of the entire project.
The preparation of the Plan was entrusted to Drustvo za urbanizam, arhitekturu i inzenjering Urbanisticki centar Ltd. from Belgrade, and the responsible urban planners are Milana Vandic and Andjelka Miloradovic.
The boundary of the Plan includes the area of the block on the corner, along Pilota Mihaila Petrovica Street and Maricka Street. The Plan includes 25 entire cadastral plots and parts of three plots, all in the Stara Rakovica Cadastral Municipality.
The planned uses of the area range from public areas, road networks and green areas in the existing open block, to other uses, mixed city centers in the high-rise zone, mixed city centers in the low-rise zone, multi-family housing zones in the existing organized settlements - open block and commercial facilities zones (low-rise).
Within the residential block, two construction plots ZP1 (area 9,097 m2) and ZP2 (area 92m2) are planned.

The technical documentation states that the total area of old and new housing capacities will be 39,694 m2, and commercial facilities will occupy 9,924 square meters.

Reconstruction of existing open recreation areas is allowed, but their covering or closing (balloons, prefabricated structures) is not allowed.
