PMC Automotive invests EUR 10.4 million in expanding production in Kragujevac with state subsidies

PMC Automotive DOO Kragujevac has signed an agreement with the Ministry of Economy on granting incentives worth EUR 1,452,512.48 for the implementation of an investment project for the reconstruction and adaptation of the production facility for the production of intake manifolds and assemblies for the automotive industry in Kragujevac.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the Ministry of Economy by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarovic, while the company was represented by Director Milan Zecevic.

According to the agreement, PMC Automotive has committed to realize an investment worth at least EUR 10,437,604 in tangible and intangible assets by the end of 2027, with at least 25% of the investment having to be financed from its own sources, without state aid.

The company also undertook to employ at least 40 new full-time permanent employees by the end of 2026, and to pay gross salaries totaling at least EUR 1,059,451 for these positions within a two-year period after reaching the planned employment.

As stated in the contract, PMC Automotive had 124 employees at the time of the application, and after the project is implemented, it will have to maintain at least 164 employees for a five-year period after the completion of the investment.

The investment relates to the reconstruction and adaptation of a production facility for the production of intake manifolds and assemblies for the automotive industry. The company operates within the Italian PROMA group, which supplies car manufacturers, including the Stellantis group factories in Serbia, Slovakia and Poland.

The contract was signed based on the decision of the Economic Development Council from April 2026, which approved the company with incentive funds for the implementation of the investment project.
