Foreign exchange of Sumadija and Pomoravlje totals USD 3,3 billion in the first 11 months 2015

- Percentage of coverage of import with export reached its peak – president of the Regional chamber of commerce Kragujevac, Predrag Lucic, communicated with an explanation that import was 1,9 billion and import USD 1,4 billion and that foreign exchange suffice totaled USD 500 m.

In the region of Sumadija and Pomoravlje, the biggest exporters in the previous year were FCA from Kragujevac, Yura Corporation from Raca, Arandjelovac-based Pestan, Panasonic Lighting devices from Svilajnac and Kragujevac-based Forma ideale.

The biggest importers were also FCA and Yura Corporation then Arandjelovac-based Pestan, PMC Automotive from Kragujevac and Johnson Controls Automotive from Kragujevac.

Major part of foreign exchange of the Region has still been with EU members (83% export and 81% import), where the most important exporting partners are Italy, Slovakia, Germany, Romania and Bosnia and Herzegovina and the most important importing partners were Poland, Germany and Romania.

Economy of the City of Kragujevac at the same period generated foreign exchange suffice totaling USD 343,2 m where export totaling USD 1,4 billion and import totaling a bit more than USD 1 billion were generated.
