Holiday Inn coming to Novi Pazar – Investment worth more than EUR 24 million, works to begin this fall

One of the world’s largest hotel brands is coming to Novi Pazar - Holiday Inn, a member of the IHG corporation that manages more than 6,000 hotels worldwide, announced the Ministry of Tourism and Youth. This is an investment worth more than EUR 24 million, which will provide 120 new jobs and significantly contribute to the development of tourism, hospitality and the overall economy of Novi Pazar.

The works are planned to start in mid-September, while the completion of construction and the opening of the hotel is scheduled for October 1, 2029.

The Ministry of Tourism and Youth has conducted a Public Call for the allocation of incentive funds to improve the quality of hotel accommodation services, and incentive funds in the amount of EUR 2,136,000 have been provided for the project in Novi Pazar.

The hotel will have 138 rooms and be located in the very center of the city. The planned facilities include a wellness and spa center, an indoor pool, conference and congress halls, as well as facilities for families and children. The special importance of the project is also reflected in its compliance with HALAL standards, which further contributes to the positioning of Novi Pazar on the tourist map of the region.

Minister of Tourism and Youth Husein Memic emphasized that Novi Pazar has been recognized as a promising tourist center and a new point of serious investment in Serbia.

– We continue to work on projects that change the perspective of Novi Pazar and our entire country and open up new development opportunities for generations to come – said Memic.

Incidentally, the Government of Serbia, at the proposal of the Ministry of Tourism and Youth, has approved the allocation of subsidies for three hotel projects, including an investment in Novi Pazar. The subsidies were approved for the projects: Doha Invest - Holiday Inn (Novi Pazar), Euro KB Rent - Swissotel (Belgrade, EXPO 2027) and Luss Leisure - Crowne Plaza (Zlatibor).
