The Hungarian government made several decisions at its last session, and as Prime Minister Peter Magyar stated on his Facebook account, these are extremely important decisions.

One of them concerns the Budapest-Belgrade high-speed railroad project, more specifically, as Magyar emphasized in the post, the reconsideration of the investment in the Budapest-Belgrade railroad.

In addition, the Hungarian government has decided to investigate the case of respirators purchased for hundreds of billions during the coronavirus pandemic, as well as to review the rules on party financing.

– We will also review the regulations on the import of foreign guest workers from third countries. We have ordered an immediate ban in certain areas. We will also review the work of the National Chamber of Agriculture, as well as the waste management concession, and we will declare a moratorium on deforestation in protected areas and reform the licensing of investments in the battery industry – announced Magyar.

Next week, as he pointed out, the government will submit the legislative package necessary to bring six trillion forints of EU funds back home.
