International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad from May 16 – More than 1,200 exhibitors to be presented

The 93rd International Agricultural Fair will be held in Novi Sad from May 16 to 21, where more than 1,200 domestic exhibitors and exhibitors from around 40 countries will be presented, the organizers announced. The partner country of this year’s fair is the Czech Republic, and collective exhibitions will be held, in addition to the Czech Republic, by the Netherlands, Italy, Hungary, Spain, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro.

The focus of the event will be on artificial intelligence, digitalization, new technologies, green initiatives and food safety. Visitors to the fair will be able to see an exhibition of agricultural machinery, as well as equipment for slaughterhouses, mobile dryers, fruit and viticulture machines, drones, and a National Livestock Exhibition will also be organized, as well as an exhibition of organic and products with geographical indications.

Those interested will be able to learn about details regarding agricultural policy measures, modern trends in production, as well as concrete support in planning and development of farms. Family Day for visitors will be on Saturday, May 16, and Livestock Breeders’ Day is on May 21, when awards will be presented to the best breeders with a parade of award-winning animals.

The Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, whose stand will be attended by representatives of the Agricultural Payments Administration and expert services which will inform farmers about all state measures in the field of agriculture.

The fair’s working hours are from 9 am to 7 pm, and the ticket price will be 1,000 dinars, 750 dinars for collective visits, while the ticket for organized visits to schools and faculties, as well as children from seven to 14 years old and pensioners, will cost 500 dinars. During Family Day, families with children under 14 will be able to visit the fair with a single ticket of 1,000 dinars.
