Electric motor factory for robotics and drones planned in Kotraza village in Dragacevo

In the village of Kotraza in Dragacevo, an electric motor factory is planned to be opened, which, according to announcements, would employ 50 workers in the first phase, and later up to 150.

Zeljko Mitrovic, owner of the company Pink Media Group, emphasized that the plan was to build one of the largest production capacities in that area in the region in Kotraza.

– The idea is to create one of the most powerful and largest electric motor factories, certainly in the region, and perhaps one of the most significant in Europe. The capacity would be 40,000 motors per month, and the development would take place in several phases. We would immediately employ about fifty people, and in the developed phase maybe 150, maybe more – said Mitrovic.

According to him, the factory will produce several types of motors, primarily for robotics and the drone industry.

– We would make brushless DC motors, stepper motors, servo motors, practically all the motors used in robotics today. We would start with brushless DC motors first, because they are currently the most sought after and used. If everything goes well, the first motors could be out of here in three to four months – said Mitrovic.

He added that the start of production would be accelerated thanks to the existing facility.
