Start of preparatory works for construction of tunnel from Sava to Danube slope postponed

The start of preparatory works in Despota Stefana Boulevard for the construction of the part of the tunnel connection from Karadjordjeva Street to the Danube slope will begin on Tuesday, April 21, instead of April 15, as initially announced, the Secretariat for Public Transport of the City of Belgrade announced yesterday, based on information provided to them by the contractor, the Chinese company Powerchina.

According to the information provided, the delay was caused by the need for additional time necessary for the preparation of the construction site, according to a statement reported by Beoinfo.

The Secretariat for Public Transport apologized to users for the situation that arose, namely the inability to share information about the postponement of the start of the works in a timely manner.
