NHIF and AstraZeneca sign agreement on new innovative medicines

The National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) of Serbia and AstraZeneca have signed an agreement for new innovative medicines. The agreement was signed by the Acting Director of the NHIF, Sanja Radojevic Skodric, and the Director of the AstraZeneca representative office in Serbia, Ksenija Purkovic.

The Special Envoy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland for the Western Balkans, Karen Pierce, stated that the agreement meant that 10 innovative medicines from AstraZeneca would be added to the list of the Health Insurance Fund.

– These are for ovarian cancer, liver cancer and some other medicines that are a great contribution, which will save the lives of ordinary people, here in Serbia – said Karen Pierce after signing the agreement.
