Construction of Vozd Karadjordje expressway to begin in two to three months

The construction of the Vozd Karadjordje expressway will begin in two to three months, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said during a tour of the construction site as part of the EXPO project.

Speaking about the construction of the highways, he also said that a new section of the Morava Corridor, from Cacak to Kraljevo, would be opened not long after.

He added that construction of the Belgrade-Zrenjanin highway, as well as the “Vojvodina Smile” highway, would be accelerated.

– We are also completing the Vrba-Adrani expressway. By the end of the year, the Danube highway will also be completed to Golubac. We are also accelerating the work on Arilje-Ivanjica, Kraljevo-Raska-Novi Pazar. We will do most of the Fruska Gora corridor, we will have about 12 kilometers left to do next year – said Vucic.
