Train with Serbian products sets off for China’s Hebei Province

A train with Serbian products set off from Batajnica for China’s Hebei Province and the International Land Terminal in Shijiazhuang, and will reach its destination in about 20 days, said Minister of Economy Adrijana Mesarovic.

She emphasized that Serbian products were competitive in both price and quality, and that they had the potential to find their way to end consumers in China.

– Our task is to further increase the volume of production, strengthen export capacities and enable as many Serbian products as possible to reach an even greater number of Chinese provinces – stated the minister.

She added that she had discussed with the Governor of Hebei Province Wang Zhengpu specific steps for additional promotion of Serbian products, primarily wine, brandy, honey and other domestic items for which there was already interest in other parts of China.

She said that it was particularly important to ensure more efficient distribution, transport and marketing channels, so that domestic products could reach the Chinese market as quickly and safely as possible.
