11,000 tons of crude oil per day are expected to be processed in April, said Minister of Mining and Energy Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic.

– Despite all the challenges that Naftna industrija Srbije (NIS) has faced for more than a year, the refinery is operating, crude oil is arriving, both processing and production increased in March and will continue to increase – she said.

She spoke with members of the NIS Board about the company’s business, the refinery’s operations and the prices of petroleum products. She stated that NIS produced enough and regularly supplied other companies. According to her, NIS increased diesel sales in March by 33% compared to February.
