Krusevac to get modern industrial science and technology park for vegetable production: Data center planned in this city

Krusevac will, in cooperation with Chinese partners, get a modern industrial science and technology park for vegetable production in the coming years.

The construction of this specialized STP was the topic of a meeting between the Mayor of Krusevac, Ivan Manojlovic, and the advisor at the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation, Zoran Tomic, with the Chinese delegation from Shandong Province, led by the director of the Center for Research on Culture, Tourism and International Exchange, Wang Chunsheng.

After the meeting, Manojlovic and Chunsheng signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between this center and the city of Krusevac.

– The Memorandum of Cooperation will not only enrich the production of agricultural products in our region, but also make a breakthrough in the field of science. The city of Krusevac, namely agricultural producers, will receive the transfer of new technologies, knowledge, artificial intelligence – said Manojlovic.

Wang Chunsheng pointed out that by implementing this project in cooperation with scientific institutes in Serbia, China would help Krusevac and Serbia, primarily in the fields of science, research and agriculture.

– Through research in the field of seeds, crops, vegetables, through research and laboratory work, but also through production itself, we will help Serbia to turn from a country that imports vegetables into an exporter – he emphasized.

As indicated, the construction of this STP will also affect related industries such as cosmetics, medicine, trade, industrial equipment and technology.

As emphasized after the meeting, it is planned for one of the data centers to also be in Krusevac in the future.
