Skoda and MIND Park sign memorandum of understanding on rail vehicle production in Kragujevac

Czech company Skoda Transportation and Serbian company MIND Park signed a memorandum of understanding in Belgrade.

This memorandum “highlights the intention to localize the production of rail vehicles in MIND Park in Serbia in cooperation with MIND Group in Kragujevac.”

Olesea Lachi, Vice President of Skoda for Southeast Europe, assessed that “trust and technical expertise are the best way” to represent Skoda in Serbia.

– I believe that cooperation, trust and technical expertise are the best way to present ourselves to the Serbian market. I wish us good luck and a good start to cooperation – said Olesea Lachi, Vice President of Skoda Group for Southeast Europe.

CEO of MIND Park Darko Djoric, stated that cooperation with Skoda represented “a strategic opportunity.”

– Cooperation with Skoda represents a strategic opportunity for us. Together we are creating the foundations for the production of modern rail vehicles in Serbia and strengthening our country’s position in advanced industrial production – said Djoric.
