Zitiste seeking designer for large swimming pool complex in Cestereg – Water polo, swimming, children’s and pool with slides planned

The Municipality of Zitiste has announced a tender for the development of project and technical documentation for the construction of a large swimming pool complex in the settlement of Cestereg.

On a location owned by the Municipality in the center of the aforementioned settlement, in Sime Solaje Street, next to the stadium of the football club Napredak Cestereg, the construction of four swimming pools with accompanying facilities is planned on three plots, in two phases.

In the first phase, a 22 x 25 meter water polo pool will be built, with variable depth and with swimming lanes for training and competitions of 25 meters in length, a children’s pool also with two depths and a cafe.

The second phase plans include a swimming pool and a pool with slides, water attractions at the pools from the first phase, an expansion of the cafe, a paved sunbathing area and a fast food and ice cream bar, as well as upgrading the sound system, Wi-Fi network and video surveillance.

The design work, which includes the development of a conceptual design, is estimated at three million dinars, and the tender expires on March 6.
