The European Commission has confirmed that consultations will be held on the introduction of levies on milk and dairy products, the Serbian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management announced.

The European Commission responded to Serbia’s initiative, regarding current developments in the milk and dairy market.

The consultations will be held online on February 25, starting at 10 AM.

As announced, Minister of Agriculture Dragan Glamocic will also participate in the meeting.

The ministry says that this move confirms the readiness to cooperate in order to preserve the stability of the sensitive agricultural sector.

The Ministry of Agriculture will inform the public about the results of the consultations.
