Survey works for construction of Belgrade Aquarium in Usce to begin – Turkish company Ronesans Holding to be contractor

Survey works for the project to build the Belgrade Aquarium in the area of the Friendship Park in Usce are to begin, announced the Mitarh architecture studio.

– In the first phase, works will be carried out on the technical preparation of the plot with a special emphasis on the surveying of groundwater. This is a common procedure for ensuring the conditions for the further implementation of the project in accordance with the highest safety and environmental standards – they said.

They stated that the transplantation of 28 mature trees was planned, in accordance with the project and technical documentation and the requirements of the competent institutions.

– The transplantation will be carried out using the specialized German machine Optimal2500, which will be shown for the first time in Serbia, and under the supervision of specialized engineers. The percentage of success of transplantation with this machine is 95% – said the Mitarh studio.

They added that the Belgrade Aquarium project was being implemented in accordance with the current Detailed Regulation Plan for the area in question, which envisaged the construction of a public facility at that location.

– A public competition was held for the preliminary urban planning and architectural design, organized by the Association of Belgrade Architects, and the first prize was won by the Mitarh architecture studio, headed by architect Branislav Mitrovic, and the contractor is the Turkish company Ronesans Holding – the statement reads.
