Development of national alternative fuels infrastructure policies in Western Balkans to begin – Dutch FIER BV wins Transport Community tender

Dutch company FIER BV has been selected as the contractor for consultancy services within the project to develop national alternative fuels infrastructure (AFI) policies in six Western Balkan countries.

The tender, launched by the Permanent Secretariat of the Transport Community, includes the provision of research and consultancy services and the development of legislative proposals where necessary, in order to bring regional partners into line with the EU Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Regulation (AFIR).

The total value of the contract awarded to FIER BV is EUR 199,700, and the contract was signed on December 18, 2025. A total of three bidders participated in the procedure.

The duration of the contract is 12 months.

The Permanent Secretariat of the Transport Community is an international organization based in Belgrade, responsible for coordinating transport policy and standards in the region, while FIER BV is a medium-sized Dutch company specialized in policy development and consulting services in the infrastructure and transport sector.
