Serbia’s external goods trade in 11 months of this year at EUR 68.4 billion

The deficit amounted to EUR 7.8 billion and was 5.1 percent higher than in the 11 months of last year.
The coverage of imports by exports was 79.5% and was higher than the coverage in the same period last year, when it was 79.1 percent.
Observed regionally, the largest share in Serbia's exports was held by the Vojvodina Region (32.4 percent), followed by Belgrade (22.2 percent), the Sumadija and Western Serbia Region (22.2 percent), the Southern and Eastern Serbia Region (21.7 percent), and about 1.4 percent of exports were not classified by territory.
The largest share in Serbia's imports was held by Belgrade (45.4 percent), followed by the Vojvodina Region (29.8 percent), Sumadija and Western Serbia (14 percent), and Southern and Eastern Serbia (nine percent), while about 1.9% of imports were not classified by region.
Foreign trade in goods was highest with countries with which Serbia has free trade agreements.
European Union member states accounted for 58.4% of total trade.
With CEFTA countries, Serbia achieved a trade surplus of EUR 2.7 billion in 11 months, which was mainly the result of exports of cereals and products thereof, road vehicles, beverages, oil and oil derivatives, medical and pharmaceutical products.
Serbia’s exports amounted to EUR 4.4 billion, and imports to EUR 1.7 billion.
In November this year, goods worth EUR 2.6 billion were exported to and from Serbia, which was 0.1% more than in the same month a year earlier, while imports were EUR 3.4 billion and were 4.6% higher than in November 2024, the Statistical Office announced.
