Serbia’s external trade in first ten months EUR 62.3 billion

Goods worth EUR 27.6 billion were exported, which is an increase of 8.6% compared to the same period last year. Imports of goods had a value of EUR 34.6 billion, which represents an increase of 7.6% compared to the same period last year.
The deficit is EUR 7.04 billion, which is an increase of 3.9% compared to the same period last year.
The export-import coverage ratio is 79.7% and is higher than the coverage in the same period last year, when it was 79%.
Observed regionally, the largest share in Serbia’s exports belongs to the Vojvodina region (32.6%); followed by the Belgrade region (22.3%), the regions of Sumadija and Western Serbia (22%), Southern and Eastern Serbia (21.7%), and about 1.4% of exports are not classified by territory.
The largest share of Serbia’s imports was held by the Belgrade region (45%); followed by the regions of Vojvodina (30.3%), Sumadija and Western Serbia (13.9%), Southern and Eastern Serbia (9%), and about 1.8% of imports are not classified by territory. There are no data available for the Kosovo and Metohija region.
External goods trade was highest with countries with which Serbia has signed free trade agreements. European Union member states account for 58.4% of total trade. The second most important partner are the CEFTA countries.
